LATE PHILLY GOAL DOWNS KRAJISNIK IN OFFENSIVE SHOWCASE
PHILADELPHIA, PA 9/08/19 – There was no shortage of goals when Krajisnik FC opened its fall season on the road in Philadelphia, but it was Lone Star FC that came away with the 4-3 victory in an offensive showcase, Sunday at South Philadelphia Super Site.
Krajisnik saw major contributions from the midfield with three different players contributing to the high-scoring affair. Left-Winger Isak Somow got things going early, scoring just ten minutes into the contest followed by central-mid Emanuel Chanelo’s goal five minutes later. Lone Star held a 3-2 lead before right-winger Justin Ruhimbasa converted a penalty kick in the 67th minute to tie the game at three.
Lone Star’s Patrick Singbah netted a hat-trick and it looked like the game was headed for a draw before a late 85th minute goal by Jorge Chavez ultimately ended up being the decider.
