Krajisnik – Mass United to Battle for US Open Qualification Positioning

Positioning for the chance to play in US Open Cup Qualification is on the line Saturday when Warren Johnson and Mass United travel west to take on Dida Bailey and Northeast Conference Pro Premier Division rival Krajisnik FC, 6 pm at Wehrum Stadium.

Krajisnik is fresh off of a win in its previous match after handing the New Hampshire Bobcats a 2-1 loss, ending a three-game losing skid for the Bosnian Boys, with Hugues Douyon and Ermin Corbic netting a goal apiece.

The visitors were 4-2 winners over Lincoln Club Futebol, with player-of-the-game Warren Johnson netting two goals. The Bobcats have now won four of its last five games while Krajisnik are now winners of two of its last four.

With two games remaining after this weekend, both teams need to finish the season in the top-4 of the division in order to receive a bid to participate in qualifying matches of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, which is open to all semi-professional and professional clubs in the United States, including Major League Soccer.
