KRAJISNIK FC PARTNERS WITH MOHAWK VALLEY DESIGNS – DELIVERS MASKS TO FAMILIES

UTICA, NY – Local soccer club Krajisnik FC out of Utica, NY, has partnered with the North Utica-based graphic design company Mohawk Valley Designs to ensure that all of the club’s families remain safe during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Whitesboro native and owner of MV Designs, JJ Gould, has been producing these masks and selling them online since the outbreak began. “We bought the highest-grade 3M furnace filter we could find,” said Gould. “They claim to block a large percentage of particles that can carry viruses.”
Krajisnik FC President Anel Pajazetovic said he just wants to make sure his players and their families are safe during these scary times. “We want to keep our players safe,” he added. “A lot of these families don’t have the materials to make these masks at their homes.”
It’s not just that the masks are difficult to make at home, but rather, the type of masks that are being delivered that make it difficult for families to make them at home. “We want to make sure we are giving out the most protective masks possible,” said Gould. “These masks have a screen-print to protect against water droplets, but also have a pocket sewn in the back and a 3M filter is placed in the pocket behind the open holes to provide some protection against virus and bacteria.”
To add an extra measure of precaution, Pajazetovic decided it would be safer and much more convenient for the masks to be hand delivered to each family’s home. “All the parents or kids have to do is sign up on our website and we do the rest at no cost to the families,” said the club’s President. “We did the first 100 today, another 100 tomorrow. It takes about 2-3 days to make 100, so we’ll be done taking orders tomorrow night and will finish delivering the masks into next week.”
Along with providing masks to families, Krajisnik has teamed up with O.B. Sports Training to provide players a “Stay Home, Get Fit Program” free of charge as well as the Krajisnik Online Soccer School, which through a partnership with SportsLab 360, allows players to improve their technical and mental aspects of the game without having to leave the house. “We just want to give back to the kids and we expect nothing in return,” added Anel. “Our greatest reward is that we are making a difference.”
