Krajisnik FC Hosts Undefeated Real New York in UPSL Empire Division Battle

HERKIMER, NY 10/17/19 - Denis Mostriansky and the rest of the Krajisnik FC boys look to play the role of spoiler when they host undefeated Real New York FC, Saturday, October 19th, 6pm at HCCC’s Wehrum Stadium.

Real New York is coming off a 1-0 defensive shutdown of Lincoln Club Futebol at home while Krajisnik is back at home two weeks after a tough, but high-scoring 5-3 loss to the same Lincoln Club Futebol squad.

This weekend’s matchup should prove to be an interesting one as the two teams play a significantly different style of soccer. Real New York plays very defensive-minded, allowing an incredibly-low two goals through five games but managing to score only nine. Krajisnik on the other hand is more offensive-minded, outscoring Real NY with 11 goals on the season but allowing the same amount. 

A battle for table positioning is also at stake this weekend. Real NY finds itself comfortable at the top of the table while Krajisnik sits just one place above relegation, tied at points with goal differential being the tiebreaker.

Doors open at 5pm with the kickoff at 6pm. Concession will be available. Tickets are $5.
